You can now identify a butterfly from your own home/office and be kept up to date with the latest scientific data on all available species on this site.

We can be contacted via email at help@whiteleysbutterflies.co.za and send us any photographs, info, sightings and we will assist you where we can. Any collectors are also free to send us photographs and info, on butterflies they have collected and would like them to be included in this Electronic Book. Due recognition will be passed on to the enthusiast by allowing them the privilege of naming the specimen , if indeed it is a new variatype, subspecies or species.
